Peggy has built her practice working with female practice (veterinarians, doctors, and attorneys) and small business owners. At age 53 she made a career change when she saw, first-hand, the effect life events had on women’s financial security. She realized there were very few female financial advisors and financial advisors who could relate to the different planning needs of women and LGBTQ. She also learned that women want a more collaborative and educational approach to planning. Peggy’s clients are smart forward-thinking women who have made the right moves and put the pieces together: their business, their life, their goals, and beliefs, even their savings and your retirement account. But once they have the pieces, struggle with how to fit them together into one cohesive picture that they understand.

Peggy is a lifelong athlete. She was a Highschool All American Swimmer and a member of the Women’s National Waterpolo Team. She has also competed in Outrigger Canoe, Team Handball and Dog Agility. As an athlete, trainer and coach, Peggy uses a coach’s approach with her clients. She knows how to inspire women to take control of their financial plan. She works collaboratively with her client’s other advisors (CPA’s, Attorneys, Mortgage Brokers, etc.) to put together a plan where her clients can make manage their own money, live the lifestyle they want today and feel confident about their tomorrow. Part of this collaborative effort also led Peggy to join a group of tax professionals and advisors to write the recently released book, “The Most Common Tax Mistakes Made By Small Businesses.”

Peggy earned her BA in Economics at Stanford and a certificate in Project Management from San Diego State University. She holds her FINRA series 7, NASAA Series 66 and Life & Health producer certifications. Peggy has also earned her both her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ ( CFP®) and Chartered Life Underwriter ® (CLU®) designations. Peggy is a member of The Finity Group’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee and has a 3 year term as part of the Cambridge Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Advisory Council. Peggy is the chapter head of The W Source® Seattle and is a member of the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) where she certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise. Peggy currently sits on the board of GenPride, a Seattle based non-profit organization to help LGBTQ seniors age with pride. Peggy was honored as a Rising Star at the 2022 InvestmentNews Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Awards for her work promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the financial services industry.

Outside of work, Peggy is very active and is passionate about her dogs. She competes with them on a national level in dog agility. Peggy’s wife, Desiree, also competes in dog agility and is a national and world champion and trainer who travels the world competing with her dogs and training others how to handle their dogs. Peggy and Desiree live in Sumner, Washington with their 4 Border Collies, Daim, Pace, Cru and Peak.
